William “Bill” GuyEarly Jr., 80, husband of Faith Deaton Earlyfor 57 years, went to be with the Lord on Monday,September 5, 2016. Mr. Early was born in Johnson City, TN, to the late William G. Early Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Alford Early. He retired from Piedmont Paint Manufacturing and was an alumnus of East Tennessee State University. He was a member of Five Forks Baptist Church, where he formerly served as chairman of the Deacon Board. Bill was an adventurer at heart. He was a licensed pilot and the former owner of William Early Photography. He loved computers and operated HAM radios for many years. Bill was a founding member of the East Simpsonville Fire Department, and serving as Chief for several years. He was a class 15 graduate of Leadership Greenville. He was most humbled and proud of the mission trips that he made to Nicaragua through his church. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Kent Early and fiancé Sandy Thompson; a daughter, Kim Fowler and husband Tracy; four grandchildren, Cayla Early, Dalton Fowler, Sheldon Early and Maggie Fowler; and a great-granddaughter, Jaylee Early. He was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Leslie Early. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Fletcher Funeral Service. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Five Forks Baptist Church, officiated by Dr. Howard Foster. Burial will follow in Graceland East Cemetery.
