Obituary of William King White
William King “Bill” White, 86, a lifelong resident of Simpsonville passed away on Wednesday August 15, 2018. Born on February 10, 1932, he was the son of the late Horace Clyde and Alva Waddell White and the husband of Vivian Elizabeth Wood White. Bill was a member of Simpsonville First Baptist Church, where he served as a R.A. leader, Sunday school teacher, choir member, and former deacon. He enjoyed bowling, baseball, and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his wife of over 50 years, Bill is survived by his son, David White and his wife Carole; two grandchildren, Johnathan White and Kristal Metts; as well as five great-grandchildren, Abbigail, James, Hannah, Kenslee, and Krisdeanna.
The funeral service for Mr. White will be held at 2pm on Friday August 17th at Simpsonville First Baptist Church, with Rev. Dan Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
