Obituary of Lois Brown Freeman

Lois Brown Freeman, 97, widow of the late Theo Freeman, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 1, 2018.

She was born in Chester, SC to the late Marion Ernest Slice and Leila Miller Slice.

Surviving is a son, Keith Brown and his wife Diane of Fountain Inn; a daughter, Barbara Norwood of Simpsonville; five grandchildren, Ricky Dale Brown, Steve Norwood, Shannon Shafer, Misty Scott and April Shelton; sixteen great-grandchildren; and five great great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband John T. Brown; two sons, Jimmy Dale “Jimbo” Brown and Gary Brown; one grandson, Jonathan Brown; two brothers; and four sisters.

The family will receive friends 1-3pm Thursday at Fletcher Funeral Service. Funeral services will be 3pm Thursday at Fletcher Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Cannon Memorial Park.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregivers, JoAnne Cooley, Lois Pippins, Elaine Dorrah and Demtria Barksdale, as well as McCall Hospice House. The family will be at their respected homes.
