Obituary of Robert "Bobby" Evans Bigham, Sr.

Robert “Bobby” Evans Bigham, Sr., 81, of Pelzer, passed away on Tuesday November 6, 2018. Born in Texas on July 7, 1937, he was the son of the late Clayton George Bigham, Sr. and Frances Garrett Bigham, and the husband of Hazel Lee Teague. Bobby loved people and never met a stranger. His two greatest loves were his wife and bluegrass music.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Robert E. Bigham, Jr.; daughters, Cynthia Lynn Sutton, Sandra Jo Templeton (Gary), Lillian Jean Wilson (Mike), Aubrey Gail Ledford, Rachel Craigo (Robbie), and Laurie Pauline Lopez (Bo); a brother, Clayton G. Bigham, Jr. (Elizabeth); as well as 22 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Susan Coker and Norma Tellez; and a grandson, Michael Van Gieson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday November 8^th from 6-8pm at Fletcher Funeral Service. The Graveside Service will be held at 11am on Friday November 9^th at Hopewell United Methodist Church Cemetery.
