Obituary of Sara Armstrong Manley

Sara Armstrong Manley, 83, wife the late Harold B Manley for 61 years, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, November 15, 2018. 

Mrs. Manley was born in the Dials Community, Gray Court to the late Samuel and Annie Baldwin Armstrong. She was a member of Dials United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school and was the last survivor of eleven children. Sara and her husband Harold loved gardening and canning vegetables.  She retired from 3M/GE/Alsimag after 36 years.

Surviving, are three sons, Randy Manley (Jeri), Sammy Manley (Margie) and Barry Manley (Sheri); a daughter, Jean Davis (Paul); seventeen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.   She was predeceased by a son, Billy Manley; a grandson, Samuel Manley, Jr.; a great-granddaughter, Emma Reece Cromer; six brothers, Johnnie Armstrong, Charles Armstrong, Zino Armstrong, Arthur Armstrong, Herald Armstrong and Paul Armstrong and four sisters, Ruby Manley, Emma Vaughn, Laura DuVall and Nivy Wood.

Visitation will be 2-4pm Sunday at Fletcher Funeral Service.

Funeral Services will be 2pm Monday at Dials United Methodist Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
