Obituary of Jeffrey Scott Bridges

Jeffrey Scott Bridges, 54, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2019.

Mr. Bridges was born in Greenville, a son of the late Dewey Stancil Bridges.  He was raised by his grandparents, the late Charlie Wiseman Bridges and Orphia Jones Bridges.  He retired from Southeastern Floral.  Scott loved baseball, camping, and fishing; but he found his greatest joy in raising his kids.  He was a huge Atlanta Braves and USC Gamecocks fan  He loved music and was a collector of BobbleHeads. 

Surviving are his companion, Kate Barber; three sons, Benjamin Bridges, Jacob Bridges, and Bodhi Bridges; a daughter, Kali Bridges; and four brothers, Jerry Bridges and wife Peggy, Ken Bridges and wife Janet, Russell Bridges and wife Sue, and Jeff Bridges and companion Kim.

A Celebration of Scott’s Life will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Fletcher Funeral Service.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
