Marcie and Jim,
Beyond all your Dad and I talked about, his most praise was always to you and his grandchildren. He was so very proud and was especially easy to tell of his great love for you. I will pray asking the Lord to help you everyday. Your Dad was one of a kind! Thank You for sharing him and the Friendships that have meant so much to others of us that were not close family. Your Dad has been a true Blessing in my life.

Mark Paden, Jackie, and Caroline Sherman. This was on one of the Saturday Tours of the Peden Reunion. Jackie would plan the tours to visit the history of the ancestors and where they lived. A lot of work went into them and Jackie made sure everyone enjoyed their day. Jackie would even take visitors to other places in the days after the reunion because they came from distant states and he wanted their trip, one to be remembered. Mark and Caroline are loving cousins of Jackie and have worked with him to secure our family's history for the generations to come. Jackie's Love for family, even distant cousins, will stay with us.

Jackie at Fairview Cemetery. Jackie would call and tell me about seeing a car at Fairview and stopping to meet the visitors. Jackie would tell them the history and many times help them find out more about their family. He always gave visitors welcome, his time, and wonderful stories and memories to take with them.
