Obituary of Theresa Turner

Theresa Ann Harvey Turner, 73, wife of James Patrick “Pat” Turner Sr. for 49 years, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 10, 2019.

Mrs. Turner was born in Greenville to the late Cledus Franklin Harvey and Helen Mary Duncan Harvey.  She retired from Dow Brands and volunteered at the McCormick Nursing Home.  Theresa enjoyed flower arranging and camping, but her main love in life was being “Granny” to her grandchildren.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Patrick Turner Jr. and wife Billie; a daughter, Angie Garrett and husband John; four grandchildren, Josh Garrett and wife Abbey, Brandie Meetze and husband Mitchell, Jody Garrett and wife Brittany, and Jennifer Garrett; and two great-grandchildren, Jordyn Garrett and Jackson Garrett.  She was predeceased by a sister, Pat Collins.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Fletcher Funeral Service.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Fletcher Funeral Service, officiated by Dr. Condy Richardson.  Burial will be private.
