Obituary of Dena Lee White

Dena Lee White, 57, went to be with the Lord. Ms. White was born in Greenville to Carolyn Hamby Snow and the late John William “Billy” White. She was an alumna of the Art Institute of Atlanta who loved painting, glass-work, photography and reading and writing poetry. She also played the Cello and enjoyed kayaking and sailing. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. Surviving, in addition to her mother are two sons, Matthew Troup and John Troup; a brother, Barry White (Anita); an aunt, Anita White; an uncle, George White and her step-father, Bill Snow. She was predeceased by an uncle, Kenneth White and a step-father, Harmon H. Farley. A Memorial Service will be 3:30pm Sunday at Fletcher Funeral Service.
