Doug, I just ran across your Mom’s obit. I’m so sorry to hear of her passing. She was always so nice to me at Kemet. I miss seeing a lot of the people we worked with and realized several have passed on.

Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near, still lived and missed and very dear. The many memories I have with Peggy will always be there. She was a special lady and a best friend and I thank God that she was a part of my life. Be now at peace my friend.

I met Peggy at Union Carbide. One day Peggy & I received a letter from Bryson Elemntary School. We both had sons in the 1st grade & rode the same bus. My dad gave Ryan (my son) a small pocket knife. Ryan took it to school to show Doug. They were on the bus & tried the knife out to see if it would cut the seat. It did. Peggy & I went to school together & and couldn’t believe the state the Sears were in! We could barely see the “cut” but had to pay for a new seat. Let me say there were mass amounts of duck tape on that and other seats. We laughed about it every time we saw each other. Peggy was such a lovely soul. So kind and always with a smile. She will be missed by many.

Peggy, was my mother a InLaw for 13 yrs .And She was the sweetest lady that I ever met kind ,caring loving woman..She also loved her grandkids..I love her with all my heart n gonna miss her so much.Rest In Peace Peggy Cooley ...
