Edna Louise Grant Sanders, 93, widow of Theron Earl Sanders, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 22, 2020.
Mrs. Sanders was born in Greenville to the late John Edward Grant and Callie Louise Winkler Grant. She was a member of Mauldin Church of God and a Life Wise Participant at Bon Secours. Louise loved the beach and enjoyed hunting and shooting. Her musical talents included playing the organ and the melodica.
Surviving are two sons, Randall Sanders and wife Sylvia, and Steve Sanders and wife Darlene; two daughters, Renee’ Sanders and Wanda Norris and husband Tom; a sister, Sara Vaughan-Burns and husband Jack; five grandchildren, Sonya Autrey, Christie Reeves, Alicia Whitworth and husband Michael, Mitchell Norris and wife Brooke, and Aaron Sanders and wife Savannah; eight great-grandchildren, Sydney, Brady, Camden, Olivia, Hudson, Brody, Aspen and Rowan; and one great-great-grandchild, Lukas. She was predeceased by a brother, Dalton Grant; and two sisters, Rachael Sturkie and Genita Grant.
Funeral services will be 2 o’clock Wednesday at Mauldin Church of God, officiated by Pastor Bobby Johnson and Rev. Dennis Stone. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the visitation. Burial will be in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
