Essie “Genny” Knight Pressley, 78, wife of Woodrow “Woody” Pressley, Jr. for 59 years, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, March 15, 2020.
Mrs. Pressley was born in Greenville County to the late James Harold Knight and Bessie Burns Knight. She was a member of Simpsonville United Methodist Church where she volunteered. She enjoyed reading, walking and aerobics.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Mike Pressley; two daughters, Susan Pressley and husband, Jeff, Lisa Morabito; two grandchildren, Chance Pressley and Tyler Morabito; a brother, James Knight and two sisters, Dot Clippard and Husband, Ray and Joan Kirby.
Funeral Services will be private.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 123 W Antrim Dr, Greenville, SC 29607 or to Simpsonville United Methodist Church, 215 SE Main Street, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
