Dave was among the kindest gentlemen, I’ve ever had the true pleasure of knowing. Back in my mid-twenty’s, in the Temple Baptist College and Career class Dave was the honorary class uncle. He was 21 years elder to me, and was always quick to listen, share a joke, and shared his life experience willingly. He came to every college and career event. He was famous for bringing his delicious meatballs to our frequent gatherings around food. I will miss Dave and his kind and generous spirit.
Today his spirit is home with our Savior. Here on earth my spirit is profoundly sad.
In these times I found solace in God’s words from the Bible.
“For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.” - 2 Corinthians 5:1

I was blessed to know Dave as a sister in Christ at Northridge Church. We served together for a time on the Guest Service team and remained in weekend fellowship after. Dave used to look for me before service with a ready joke or to tease me about being a
" trouble maker" :) I'll miss seeing him. It sure won't be the same at NorthRidge without him. You're home Dave. :)

I am so sorry for your loss. I had the privilege to serve with Dave at Northridge. He was so dedicated to serving at his “Door 2” post at Saturday night service and that door will never be the same without him. Dave was a kind man and loved Jesus with a great servant’s heart. We will miss Dave and never forget him. Prayers to you all at this difficult time.

I had the privilege of serving with Dave on guest services at Northridge Church. He spoke very warmly of his family and always had a story about his nieces and nephews. His eyes lit up when he would tell me about his latest cruise and I enjoyed hearing the details. We always had fun kidding around with each other. He will be greatly missed. Claudia

I volunteered for several years alongside Dave at NorthRidge Church. He was a kind man with a heart of gold who loved to serve his Lord. Every Sunday morning he would bring a box of donut holes to share with the other volunteers. Like clockwork, I could always count on Dave for my “second breakfast.” I’m so grateful that I got to know and serve alongside him. My heart goes out to his family and I want them to know Dave will be missed by many and remembered for his kindness for years to come.
With Deepest Sympathies,
