Obituary of Christy Brewington Meetze

Christy Brewington Meetze, 51, wife of Brian Edward Meetze, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, May 7, 2020. Mrs. Meetze was born in Simpsonville to Mancel and Pansy Leopard Brewington. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher. Christy loved scrapbooking, cross stitching and gardening. She spent 20+ years with the Seeds of Love, a child Evangelism Fellowship. Surviving, in addition to her husband and parents are three sons, Bradley Edward Meetze and wife Kelsie, James Michael Meetze and wife RaeAnne and Christopher Douglas Meetze; two grandchildren, Raelynn and Sawyer Meetze; a brother, Mancel Scott Brewington and wife, Christy; a nephew, Scottie Brewington and a niece, Sarah Brewington. The family will receive friends from 1-3pm Monday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Funeral Services will follow at 3pm. Burial will be private.
