Obituary of James Harry Rodgers, Jr.

James Harry Rodgers, Jr., 81, husband of Fair Stewart Rodgers for 25 years, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 27, 2020.
Mr. Rodgers was born in Fountain Inn to the late James Harry Rodgers and Helen Garrett Rodgers. He was a veteran of the US Army veteran, serving as a Chaplain. He was a member of Fairview Presbyterian Church, where he served as an assistant organist and church historian. James was a member of the Moses T. Fowler Camp of the S.C.V.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, is a brother, Johnny Rodgers and wife Dot. He was predeceased by a sister, Carolyn Martin.
Funeral services will be 4 o’clock Tuesday at Fairview Presbyterian Church, officiated by Rev. Jonathan Williams. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service.
