Obituary of Paul Joseph Effenberger

Paul Joseph Effenberger, 60, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 6th, 2020. Mr. Effenberger was born in Montclair, NJ to the late Edmund Aloysius Effenberger and Virginia Margaret Miller Effenberger. He was currently employed in sales at Gale Contractor Services. Paul enjoyed cooking, working in his yard, and fishing. He loved going to thrift stores, playing with his dog Bella, and wood-working projects. Paul was a master story-teller with an uplifting spirit; he never met a stranger. He loved being with his kids and relished the opportunity to go riding and exploring with Allie while singing in the car. He made a meaningful difference to everyone close to him. Surviving are a son, Paul Effenberger, Jr. and wife Anne; two daughters, Nicole James and husband Nicholas, and Allie Effenberger; a brother, Alexander Effenberger; and four sisters, Joan Robertson, Virginia Hogan, Clair Effenberger, and Mary Christine Chaney. He was predeceased by a brother, Edmund Effenberger. A Celebration of Paul’s Life will be 1 o’clock Sunday at Fletcher Funeral Service, officiated by Pastor Scott Lawson. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
