Obituary of Mary Hill Green

Mary Ellen Hill Green, 89, widow of William David “Bill” Green, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 4, 2020.
Mrs. Green was born in Enoree to the late John James Hill and Mollie Mary Montjoy Hill. She enjoyed gardening and working in the yard. She was a collector of state spoons. Mary loved Christmas and collected Christmas Houses figurines. She was at her happiest when she was surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are five sons and their wives, Jim and Paulette Green, Bob and Sue Green, Bill and Lynn Green, John and Nydia Green, and Mark and Esmeralda Green; a son-in-law, Jack Tribble; sixteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Vickie Tribble; a daughter-in-law, Renna Green; two brothers, Bobby Hill and Everett Hill; and two sisters, Millie Wise and Nell Lanford.
The family will receive friends from 5-6 o’clock Tuesday at Fletcher Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be 3 o’clock Wednesday at the funeral home.
