Ronnie was such a great husband, father, grandfather. He (and Max Hipps) also built my kitchen and bathroom cabinets in 1984. He was very talented !

Chief Boyce was a class act and a true gem of the fire service. He dedicated a huge part of his life to the firefighting profession and shared his wisdom as an instructor for many years. He made a lasting impact on so many firefighters serving today and his legacy will last for years to come. I am honored to have met him and sincerely appreciate the lasting work he contributed to our profession. To the family, you are in my prayers for peace and comfort during this time. He will be greatly missed.

Deb, Chris and Lindsay, please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of your husband and father. I first met him after I became responsible for Emergency Response at 3M - some 25 plus years ago. And I got to know him better when I was appointed to the Board of Commissioners at DCFD, a little later. I considered him a very good friend and will miss going to lunch with him and discussing whatever subject that was on either of our minds. He was a valuable asset to the companies on Donaldson Center and continued his contributions by consulting after his retirement. I found him to be very professional and knowledgeable, but still personable and approachable. He was invaluable as a trainer and a great resource for fire and building code related information.
May the love of God, the love of family and friends, and your memories of good times with him in the past, help you during this time of grief.
