Obituary of John Dillon Brooke

John Dillon Brooke, 72, husband of Sherry Gatlyn Brooke for 51 years, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 14, 2020.
Mr. Brooke was born to the late Etlon Ollen Brooke and Thelma McLendon Brooke. He was a member of Mauldin Church of God and retired as minister of Pacolet Church of God. He enjoyed playing the saxophone and spending time with his family.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two daughters, Cher Elgin with husband Aaron Elgin and their children, Cade and Kalika Elgin; and Angela Roe with her children, Dillon and Anna Roe; and a brother, Elton “Pepper” Brooke with wife Donna Brooke.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, S.C. Church of God Home for Children, 1810 NE Main Street Simpsonville, SC 29681.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2 pm Saturday at Mauldin Church of God.
