Obituary of Ralph Edwin Ryan

Ralph Edwin Ryan, 82, husband of the late Alice Johnson Ryan, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 24, 2020. Mr. Ryan was born in Paducah, KY to the late Lynn Boyd Ryan and Embry Snover Moody Ryan. He was a veteran of the US Navy, serving on the USS Gatling. Ralph and Alice married on December 4th, 1959 in New Haven MI. They called Lenox Township home for 46 years and spent the last five years in Simpsonville, SC. Ralph loved family gatherings of all types. He enjoyed several genres of music and playing video games, and was a collector of pennies. He was a former member of First Baptist Church of New Baltimore and retired from the Grand Trunk Railroad Company. Surviving are a son, Ralph Ryan, Jr. (Paula); three daughters, Alison Ryan, Teresa Ruff (Jim) and Sally Capps (Michael); a sister, Sheila Winarski (John); a brother in-law, Willie Ray Johnson (Mary); ten grandchildren; and five great grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Lynn Ryan Jr., Charlie Ryan and Johnny Ryan; and four sisters, Eska Ryan, Gene Bellish, Shirley Harlan and Brenda Ryan.
