My wife Cindy referred to Shirley as mom and she always looked forward to see her at the hair appointment time. I have met Shirley a few times and she seemed to a sweet and loving lady. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of those that were close to Shirley

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. Take comfort in knowing that Shirley is with her savior and that she has been told "Well done, my good servant" (Luke 19:17). There is no easy way to go through the grieving process, but to hang on to your faith and Jesus' words; "blessed are those that mourn, for they shall be comforted."

Dear Tony, I will truly miss "mother". Although you want you finances to run smoothly but when you had a problem with banking I knew that meant i would have a chance to see your Mom. I so enjoyed getting to know her and working with her. She was very special to me. I pray you and your family will forever cherish fond memories and loving moments. Love you so much Mary Murray

Tony and Angie,
We are so heartbroken for yall with the loss of your sweet Momma! She was a dear Friend After working with her at Texize for 25 yrs and even visiting she & your Dad when I traveled to Indy for company business. I went to a Wed night church supper & service with them and several others on several occasions! She never forgot about our Mauldin folks! We were so thankful they enjoyed this experience But so happy they could “retire” back in SC! Beautiful times and memories of a wonderful Lady we love! Cherish your memories as you move into this new time and know we are here for yall! Psalm 23:4

Tony, Angie, and all of the family, Lorraine and I were so saddened to hear that "Miss ' Shirley, had passed away. We had been friends with She and her family for many years, our families had belonged to the same church ,Fairview Street Baptist for a long time. Tony's dad Cletus grew up together on the Woodside Mill Village.
Lorraine and I both send our heartfelt sympathy. We know the pain of going through what you are. We also send our love and prayers to each of you. May God make smooth the path before you in the trying days and months ahead. RIP our friend.
Your friends in Christ, Ray and Lorraine.
