So saddened to hear about Ms Phyllis' passing. She had such a warm spirit about her and always greeted me with a smile. She will be missed by so many. I am so sorry Alecia,your Mama was so special.She ment the world to me. I remember one time way back in the day before you was born,my Mama,Janice,& me went by and picked your mama up,we was going to Laurens I guess to shop.Well Phyllis Ann had made her some eggs with ketup on them,(so of course she was late)she took them with us and it was pouring rain after she got thru eating them she had this idea to hang the plate out the window to wash it off..we all was laughing so hard at that idea,well she did it and of course dropped the plate out the window,so we backed up the car so she could get out to get the plate..We laughed so much about that...She was so special and going to be missed..

I did not know Phyllis well, but we were forever bumping into each other when we'd go out to eat. Our standard joke was: "I see you got the memo of where we were eating tonight!" She had the most marvelous smile and laugh, and I always thought she was just cute as a button. I really, really liked her. It might seem that all the prayers were not answered, but they were: she is totally healed and happy in the presence of her Lord. But I will miss you, Phyllis, when we visit some of our shared restaurants. Save me a place at the Banquet Table!
