Obituary of Pauline Robertson Owens

Pauline Robertson Owens, 97, widow of David Earl Owens, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 20, 2021.
Mrs. Owens was born in Laurens County to the late Clyde Robertson and Jennette Cora Barton Owens. Pauline was a member of Hemocaliss Society #15 and has created her own Daylily species. She also was a member of Iron Gate Gardens for over 50 years and loved to visit. She also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
Surviving is a daughter, Brenda Nix; seven grandchildren, Daniel Taylor, Debbie Giles, Deena Gillette, Paula Owens, Tammy Reece, Shelby White and husband Ray, and Dylan Owens; nine great-grandchildren, Tanya Houtz and husband Steve, Samantha McIntyre, Amanda Mallory and husband Nick, Tristan Reece, Lea Gillette, Shane Gillette, Christopher White, Raelynn White, Athena White, and Skylar Owens; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two sons, Danny Owens and Thomas Owens; two sisters, Doris Marlar and Nevia Guest; three grandchildren, Jimmy Taylor, Stephanie Owens, and Dana-Ashley Owens; and one daughter in-law, Elaine Owens
The family will receive friends 1-2pm Saturday at Fletcher Funeral Service.
Funeral services will follow 2pm in the chapel of Fletcher Funeral Service officiated by Dean Cortese. Entombment will be at Cannon Memorial Park.
