Linder “L.W.” Willis Lamb, Jr., 75, husband of Reba Edmonds Lamb for 57 years, went to be with Jesus, his Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 23, 2021.
He fought a good fight…
Mr. Lamb was born in Spartanburg county to the late Linder Willis Lamb, Sr. and Avenell Gault Lamb. He was a member and a former deacon of Bethany Baptist Church and retired from International Paper. He enjoyed working in his garden, restoring old cars, woodworking, and fishing.
Surviving is a son, Jody O. Lamb and wife Diane; three daughters, Tracey Lamb, Tammy L. Davis and husband Bill, and Amanda L. Moss and husband Carroll; one sister, Gwendolyn Lamb Trail; nine grandchildren, Nicole Sheppard and husband Ralph, Danesa Haney and husband Ryan, Kevin Lamb and wife Karen, Joshua Lamb and wife Erika, Olivia Davis and Emma Davis; Brittany Moss Smith with husband Kevin, Stephen Moss, Jacob Moss and wife Shelly; twenty great-grandchildren, Alex Henderson, Logan Henderson, Jacob, Ava, Dewey, Elijah, Jordan, Levi, David, Kayleigh, K.J, Mattison, Caroline, Rylee, Patrick, Wilson, Brayden Moss, Mila Nixon, Easton Nixon and Conner Nixon. He was predeceased by a great-granddaughter, Ginny.
Funeral services will be 3pm Wednesday at Bethany Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Roscoe Wilson and Rev. Robert Cato. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior.
