Latitia “Tisha” Gray Montgomery, 77, wife of 51 years to Joseph Lanham “Lanny” Montgomery, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January, 31, 2021.
Mrs. Montgomery was born in Allendale, SC to the late Huron Ansel Gray and Mary Helen Brunson Gray. Tisha retired after 46 years as a school teacher at Simpsonville Elementary and was a member of Holy Cross Episcopal Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters; Meredith Montgomery Kinard and husband DJ and their son, Harry; Valerie Montgomery Bridges with husband Michus and their children, Micah, Mary-Lanham, Montgomery and Crews; one son, John Justin Montgomery with wife Kellie and their children, Hayden, Lane, Finley, and Parks; one brother, Hugh Brunson Gray; and one sister in-law, Jane Thomas Gray.
Graveside services will be held 1pm Thursday, February 4th at Simpsonville City Cemetery.
