Obituary of Reginald "Buddy" Rhoads, Jr.

Reginald “Buddy” Ruthford Rhoads, Jr., 82, husband of Barbara Haniford Rhoads, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. He was born in Anderson, SC to the late Reginald Ruthford Rhoads, Sr. and Eunice Breazeale Rhoads. Buddy was a US Army Veteran. He loved to play golf and was a member of the Seniors Lakeview Golf Course group. In his younger years, he enjoyed riding dirt bikes, snow skiing, and bowling with family and friends. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Angela Casper; son, Reginald “Reggie” Rhoads, III and wife Janna; two sisters, Teresa Wharton and husband Terry, and Loretta Hayes; and granddaughter, Nicole Casper. He was predeceased by a sister, Enretha Frady. Graveside services will be held 3 pm Wednesday in the Mausoleum Chapel at Graceland East Memorial Park officiated by Rev. David Williams.
