It was such a pleasure dealing with Tommy at Dixie Electronics, then with Sawyers. Most of his clients would say if Tommy can’t find, it don’t exist. He had a same care for old discarded equipment that some of us do. Unfortunately most st of us only saw Tommy when we were needed a part or piece of equipment. The last time I saw him was when I was looking for a rare mini switch. I just found out about his passing while now searching for 1940-60 vintage broadcast gear for the Mark Five Museum that’s being salvaged now. I wish he could have been involved in this new Park downtown. We’ll miss you Tommy. Ed Howard

Recently, I learned of Tommy's passing. I first met Tommy in 1977 when I worked for Dixie Electronics in Greenville. Tommy was a kind and humorous friend that I always looked forward to visiting with in later years. Rest in peace my friend.
