Obituary of Ernest Larry Leopard

Ernest Larry Leopard, 71, husband of the late Debra Louise Morgan Leopard, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 3, 2021. Mr. Leopard was born in Laurens to the late M.C. Leopard and Ferona Leona Suttles Leopard. He retired from Cryovac and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Ernest loved his church and the town of Fountain Inn. He was a huge Clemson fan. His motto was “if I can’t buy it in Fountain Inn, then I don’t need it”! Surviving are a son, John Leopard and wife Mary; three daughters, Michelle Mejia, Kacey Bell and Joannie Leopard; a brother, M.B. Leopard; three sisters, Eva Hyman, Yvonne Smith and Marie Leopard; seven grandchildren, Taylore Epps, Haley Leopard, Gabi Grasser, Sean Bell, Abbygail Ramirez, Madison Bell and Noah Leopard; and two great-grandchildren, Jayce Epps and Skylar Epps. He was predeceased by a brother, Newton Leopard; a sister, Pat Leopard; and a grandson, Cody Grasser. Visitation will be 5-7 pm Tuesday at Fletcher Funeral Service. Funeral services will be 2 pm Wednesday at Bethany Baptist Church. Burial will be in Cannon Memorial Park.
