Obituary of Joann Liguori Mattioli

Joann Mattioli, 81, wife of Joseph Mattioli for 60 years, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 29, 2021. Joann was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late John Liguori and Marion Cardullo. After her father passed, Joann was raised by her mother and stepfather, Jack Cardullo. Joann worked for TWA at JFK airport for 15+ years. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, The Italian-American Club of Greater Greenville, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus. Joann loved to travel, have parties, dance and be with her family. She had a great sense of humor and always kept people laughing Surviving in addition to her husband are three daughters; Gina Negovetic (Neal), Diane Farrugia (George), and Dana Mattioli (David). Joann was lovingly called Nana by her grandchildren; Julianne Negovetic (Bryant), Boo, and Crissana. Joann was a beautiful, kind, vibrant woman who will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The Funeral Mass will be held 11 o'clock Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, officiated by Fr. Patrick Cooper. The family will receive friends an hour prior.
