Billy was my older brother an I loved him more than he knew. I always wanted an older brother for as long as I could remember an I got my wish; if only for a smaller amount of time than I would have liked. Not a lot of people knew that Billy had a Dad that loved him very much... Some didn't know he had a Dad at all. In fact, Billy had a father named Cecil, a step-mother named Brenda... 2 younger sisters Amanda Kay Ballew and LeeAnn Nicole Pendleton (Ballew) & 2 younger brothers Buddy Ballew and Brendon Ballew. He also had 2 nieces ( Willow and Marsella) and 1 nephew (Ollie). I wanted to make sure that everyone knew this information since it was "accidentally" left out of his obituary. Just because you don't name this side of his family doesn't mean that we didn't matter to him. He mattered! His life mattered. Billy mattered to me. He mattered to us all. I will miss my older brother. I will miss our sarcastic banter back and forth an our inside jokes about being the 2 better looking of the Ballew side of the family. (Which was very true). I am proud to have been his sister.I wish I could tell him that he was a great big brother. I sure will miss being his little sister. I just wish it had been longer. I believe he knows though. I believe right now he's laughing to himself and mocking the fact that I've been "ugly crying" over him and making the most snide sarcastic jokes that he was so great at doing. I'LL MISS YOU EVERY DAY BIG BROTHER!!
