It's been one year now since you passed Dad. We really miss you being here. You would be very proud of the fine young men the boys have grown into. Thank you for your love, guidance and support. I sure do miss doing projects with you. Tell Grandma and Alysha I love and miss them too.

My grandfather will be greatly missed. He was so helpful in my younger years as my parents worked full time. If you only knew the amount of cheerleading practices and horseback lessons this man has been to. I knew the station wagon would always be there for me! I returned the favor in later years being his source of transportation. Grandpa always kept up with my hobbies and interests from childhood until the very end. That is what was most special to me. A unique sense of humor. I will carry with me memories of many neighborhood bike riding with my cousin Caleb and of course trick-or-treating.

Rest easy, Russell. You were always a sweet, kind soul to all of my children and me. A smile from you always greeted us when we would visit all the family on High Ridge Road in Stamford.
